Reference to Google Analytics
The Little Scientists website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text data files which are stored on your computer and enable your website use to be analysed. As a rule, the information generated by the cookie about your use of this website will be transferred to a Google server in the USA where it will be stored.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities and provide further services concerning website use and Internet use to the website operator. The IP address transferred by your browser in the Google Analytics framework will not be combined with other Google data.
Google Analytics has been extended on the Little Scientists website by the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure anonymised recording of IP addresses (known as IP masking). Your IP address will be abbreviated by Google before it is transferred. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google Server in the USA and abbreviated there.
You may prevent storage of the cookies by making a suitable setting of your browser software; however, we wish to point out that you may then not be able to make full use of all the functions of this website. In addition, you may prevent recording of the data generated by the cookie about your website use including your IP address by Google and the processing of such data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in which is available at the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
