The Christmas Workshop is one of my favourites and this year we are making it even better. The workshops start at 10:00 with our littlest scientists (aged 3/4 to 5) who will build and program a Christmas Tree which rotates and lights up. At 11:10 we start the STEM/coding class (aged 5+). We are going to make, code and personalise digital Christmas Cards using Scratch and ScratchJr and then will learn about the binary alphabet by making a tree ornament personalised with own name/word in binary format. In the afternoon session from 14:00 we will be building and programming a variety of different Christmas robots: Santa Claus, Santa and Rudolph, Christmas Lanterns and Christmas Trees.
